Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Meet Aja St. Germaine, a third-year student passionate about communication in social equity issues, particularly LGBTQ+ activism. Being a Critical Studies English Major and Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies minor, they strive to create safe and equitable spaces within their time at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Aja's dedication to the queer population has led them to become a highly invested intern in the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center program, as well as interning in the inaugural FreaQweek program, Out. Zine Coordinator, and Q'nnect Coordinator, and their strong mindedness and determination is key to their success.

They have served on the Equity Diversity and Inclusion Rapid Action Task Force, Academic Apprentice under Dr. MicKenzie Fasteland in a "Youth in Protest" course, focused on intersectionality and decolonization in the Center for Writing Excellence, as well as representing Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin as a Student Ambassador on the UW-Eau Claire campus, with which they hosted many events highlighting the queer and trans experience.
